Abdul-Kadir K. AHMED is the MD/CEO of NLNG Ship Management Ltd (NSML), the maritime services subsidiary of NLNG, responsible for the technical management and manning of BGT’s fleet and NLNG’s marine terminal in Bonny Island.

Before his appointment as the MD/CEO, he was the erstwhile Manager, Commercial Marketing & Business Development in NLNG. His working career spans both development and investment banking before joining the commercial division of Nigeria LNG Limited as a Senior Marketing officer in 1998. Abdul (Kere) is a consummate and quintessential LNG commercial professional with over 20 years’ experience in all functional areas of the Commercial LNG business; and has held several senior and management positions in Sales/Contract Administration, Pricing & Risk Management and Marketing & Development.

He graduated from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria with a degree in Business Administration- specializing in Finance- and holds an MBA from the Cardiff Business School UK.
