Tayo Akinkunmi is the Country Manager and Managing Director of TechnipFMC Nigeria,  a global leader in subsea and surface technologies for the oil and gas production systems. He is currently the Chairperson of the Petroleum Contractor Trade Section (PCTS), a Trade Section of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Tayo joined TechnipFMC in 2005 as a Lead Product Engineer and held positions of increasing responsibility in Product and New Technology Development, Operations Management, Business Development and Subsea Services Business Unit Management.  Prior to joining TechnipFMC, he held other positions in Drilling Operations and Industrial Automation with Schlumberger and Sony Disc Manufacturing. He also had a stint in the Academia as an Associate Department Chairperson at the Houston Community College.

Tayo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ibadan and a Master’s degree in Electronics and Computer Technology from Indiana States University.
