Chuks graduated with a bachelors degree in Marketing in 2007 from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port-Harcourt. He has held several posts in risk management companies in Nigeria, including Control Risks and other Maritime risk management organizations.

He joined Transocean in 2011 as a Security Advisor for Offshore Operations. In 2013 he joined Shelf Drilling and his current role covers Security Management, Government Affairs, Community Affairs, and part of Health Management for the company’s West Africa operations.

He is a Certified Protection Officer, an active member of Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC), Lagos Chapter, Nigeria; an Ex-Officio and active member of American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS International), Region 11, Chapter 206 Lagos, Nigeria; a member of Corporate Security Group (COSEG) Nigeria. He is the current Chairman of International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) Nigeria Chapter.
